Although there is a shared bathroom experience Denis is an amazing host and very helpful to navigate the city! Breakfasts were excellent!! The host was very friendly. The location is perfect to the gay village. It is a half block to St. Catherine Street. The neighborhood is very quiet.
The parking was easy to get in an out of. We were concerned about a shared bathroom but it was never an issue and it was cleaned several times every day. I went for a long weekend with my partner. Denis, the host, is friendly, an provided great recommendations. The bed was very comfortable, and the room well appointed. The bathroom was impeccably clean - as if a magical fairy spent all day cleaning between every use.
Definitely recommend this place as affordable, quality, in a fantastic location in the heart of the gay village, Montreal. Oh, forgot to mention - breakfast was also amazing every day. The place is unique and charming. The host Denis was helpful and served a wonderful breakfast of French Toast and fresh fruit and was helpful with information about Montreal. Will stay there again when I return to Montreal. Location is just perfect, close to the bars and the metro.
We surprisingly didn't mind the shared bathroom because it was kept clean with fresh towels. Good breakfast.
